Pedigree Chart from Dr. K. J. Prestwidge
The chart below represents one family of Prestwidges that lived in Jamaica in the early 1800's. The first branch of this family, the one headed by Charles Herbert Prestwidge lived in the Jamaican hills southeast from Ocho Rios roughly between the two tiny Jamaican towns of Blackstonedge and Halifax. The family abode there was named Road Field. The name was taken because Charles worked on the roads of Jamaica and Isabella stayed at home and tended the fields.
